Multifaith Future Leader’s Program celebrates tenth anniversary in Caulfield

THE annual Multifaith Future Leader’s Program has been held in Caulfield.

Young people from different faiths and ethnic backgrounds came together, full of optimism and empathy, for a day of breaking barriers, suspending assumptions, and active listening.

Anti-Defamation Commission chairman Dr Dvir Abramovich said he could not be prouder of the uplifting project and the inspiring leaders who were ready to stand up for a truly multicultural Australia.

He said at a time of a disturbing surge in racism and religious intolerance, the group shared intimate moments, speaking movingly about their identities, journeys, crises, aspirations and suffering discrimination.
