The B’nai B’rith Anti-Defamation Commission has joined people and nations around the world in mourning the thousands of lives lost in Nepal and neighbouring states as a result of the horrific earthquake.
ADC Chairman, Dr Dvir Abramovich, issued the following statement:
“We are enormously saddened and distressed by this horrific earthquake, the shocking damage and tragic loss of life caused by this disaster. We extend our heartfelt condolences and sympathies to those who have lost loved ones and wish those who were injured a full and speedy recovery. It is wonderful to see, at this incredibly challenging time, the tremendous international relief provided by so many countries, including Australia and Israel. We urge all our members and supporters to give generously so as to help the people of Nepal rebuild their lives, homes and beautiful country.”
The Anti-Defamation Commission, founded in 1979, is Australia’s leading organization fighting anti-Semitism through educational programs that combat bigotry, prejudice and all forms of hatred.
