B’nai B’rith Anti-Defamation Commission offers its condolences and prayers to the victims of the earthquake in Italy

The B’nai B’rith Anti-Defamation Commission has joined people and nations around the world in mourning the lives lost in central Italy as a result of the devastating earthquake in the Umbria region.

ADC Chairman, Dr Dvir Abramovich, issued the following statement:

“What a sad day. We are tremendously distressed by this devastating earthquake, the heartbreaking images and the tragic loss of life caused by this disaster. We extend our sincere condolences and sympathies to those who have lost loved ones and wish those who were injured a full and speedy recovery. It is wonderful to see, at this incredibly challenging time, the enormous international relief provided by so many countries and individuals. We urge everyone to give generously so as to help the people in the affected areas rebuild their lives and homes.”

The Anti-Defamation Commission, founded in 1979, is Australia’s leading organization fighting anti-Semitism through educational programs that combat bigotry, prejudice and all forms of hatred.
