B’nai B’rith Anti-Defamation Commission and B’nai B’rith ANZ congratulate Prime Minister Netanyahu on electoral victory

The B’nai B’rith Anti-Defamation Commission (ADC) and B’nai B’rith ANZ have extended
their congratulations to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on his electoral victory today.
Dr Dvir Abramovich, Chairman of the B’nai B’rith Anti-Defamation Commission and Morris Tobias, President of B’nai B’rith ANZ issued the following statement:
“We extend our warmest congratulations to the Israeli people and to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on his convincing electoral victory. The voters have spoken and we are confident that once PM Netanyahu forms government that he will strive to ensure a future of peace, prosperity and security for Israel’s citizens. Israel’s future government will have to confront and grapple with numerous domestic and international issues and challenges, especially the Iranian nuclear threat, extremist terrorism, Hamas, the growing escalation of global anti-Semitism, and the delegitimisation of Israel. Tuesday’s election demonstrated the powerful, enduring and unique nature of Israel’s representative democracy in a region bereft of such rule. As always, B’nai B’rith and the Anti-Defamation Commission will continue to work closely with the Israeli government on many matters of concern to the Jewish people in Australia and around the world.”
