ADC shocked and outraged by the London terrorist attacks

The ADC, Australia’s leading civil rights organisation countering hatred in all its forms, has expressed its shock and grief at the London terrorist attacks that claimed the lives of eight people, including two Australians, Sara Zelenak and Kirsty Boden.

Dr Dvir Abramovich, Chairman of the ADC, issued the following statement

“We are deeply saddened and shocked by this vicious terrorist rampage that has claimed the lives of innocent civilians, including two Australians. Through tears, we grieve for the dead, and our heartfelt thoughts are with their families and loved ones. We also pray for the speedy recovery of the injured. Once again, radical Islamist terrorists have struck at the heart of Britain, a country that celebrates democracy and pluralism. In this dark hour, we express our support and solidarity with the British people, and hope that those who helped to perpetrate this senseless act of violence are apprehended and brought to justice. This latest attack is another deadly reminder of the true nature of the enemies of freedom and western values, and a reminder that this evil ideology is a menace and threat that must be fought with international effort and cooperation.”
