ADC shocked and outraged over fatal terrorist attack in Jerusalem

The ADC has expressed its shock and outrage following the deadly terrorist attack near Lions’ Gate in Jerusalem’s Old City that claimed the lives of two Israeli officers, Hail Stawi and Kamil Shanan. The three terrorists, Arab citizens of Israel, were killed by Israeli law enforcement.

Dr Dvir Abramovich, Chairman of the ADC, issued the following statement:

“We condemn, in the strongest possible terms, this latest terrorist rampage that has claimed the lives of two Israeli policemen. It is with a sense of profound sadness that we grieve for the fallen, extend our deepest condolences to their loved ones, and wish the wounded a speedy and full recovery. The international community must unambiguously denounce the fiery and dangerous incitement by Hamas and the Palestinian authority which surrounds these reprehensible attacks. The people and government of Israel have been repeatedly subjected to horrific waves of violence in Jerusalem and yet have admirably maintained open access in the holy city to all religious faiths.”
