ADC praises President Trump’s call for Muslim nations to join the battle against Islamic extremism and terrorism

The ADC has applauded President’s Trump’s call on Muslim countries to unite and join the battle against Islamic terrorism and extremism. During a speech in Saudi Arabia, President Trump said, “Drive them out of your places of worship. Drive them out of your communities”, adding, “This is not a battle between different faiths, different sects or different civilizations. This is a battle between barbaric criminals who seek to obliterate human life, and decent people, all in the name of religion—people that want to protect life and want to protect their religion. This is a battle between good and evil.”

Dr Dvir Abramovich, Chairman of the ADC, issued the following statement:

“We applaud President Trump’s strong call for Muslim nations to confront head on the Islamist extremist threat that is spreading across the Middle-east and striking fear and claiming innocent lives in cities around the world. The president is right in stating that this is a fight between the forces of good and evil, and that victory over this violent, death cult, can only be achieved by Arab and Muslim countries working in partnership and taking decisive action. We also welcome President Trump’s honest assessment of Iran as a sponsor of terrorism and the primary destabilizer in Syria through its sponsorship of Hezbollah and Hamas . We were also were heartened that the president urged Muslim nations to stand together against the persecution and slaughter of innocent Christians, Jews, Muslims and women.”
