ADC deeply concerned about announced Australian visit of neo-Nazi broadcaster Mike Enoch

The ADC, Australia’s leading organisation fighting anti-Semitism and hatred in all its forms, has expressed its deep concern about the announced visit by neo-Nazi broadcaster Mike Enoch, founder of the virulently anti-Semitic and racist The Right Stuff network, and co-host of the radio show The Daily Shoah. The Right Stuff Radio network counts as part of its ‘entertainment’ shows such as This Week in Genocide, a term coined by white supremacists to allege that the white race is “dying” due to assimilation and non-white immigration and to charge that Jews are responsible for this “genocidal” action.

Dr Dvir Abramovich, Chairman of the ADC, issued the following statement:

“The announced visit by influential neo-Nazi broadcaster Mike Enoch, who has talked about killing Jews, and whose warped views are beyond the pale, is deeply troubling. Founder of The Right Stuff, a virulently racist hub that seeks to popularise anti-Semitism and which features articles and shows that peddle dangerous and ugly theories of race, his visit will further embolden white-supremacist groups who are waging an unprecedented campaign of outreach and intimidation across Australia. The Daily Shoah, which Enoch co-hosts, originated the use of the echo symbol around names to identify people as Jewish. This “parentheses meme,” has been deployed on social media to harasses Jewish journalists. According to The Right Stuff, “all Jewish surnames echo throughout history. The echoes repeat the sad tale as they communicate the emotional lessons of our great white sins, imploring us to Never Forget the 6 GoRillion”. This visit carries the risk of fanning the flames of prejudice and we urge the Federal government to carefully consider the harmful and divisive impact it will have.”
