ADC condemns deadly terror attack in Egypt

Today, ADC Chairman Dr Dvir Abramovich, issued the following statement following the deadly terror attack on a Sufi mosque in Al Rawda in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula that claimed the lives of 305 people.

“We decry this reprehensible and monstrous terror attack, which claimed the lives of so many innocent people, in the strongest possible terms. This mass murder is not just an attack on the Sufi Muslim community, but an attack on all people and on all civilised societies who cherish diversity, freedom of religion, and respect for different cultures. As we send our heartfelt condolences to the victims and to their families, we also reflect on the global use of terror tactics to advance an evil agenda. Governments of good standing must unite in solidarity to fight the extremism that leads to such barbaric acts.”
