St Kilda residents in Melbourne confronted by massive white-supremacist hate symbol

The ADC has condemned, in the strongest possible terms, the vandalism of a building on the corner of Blessington Road and Brighton Road, St Kilda, with white-supremacist graffiti featuring the notorious code 88-14. The two numbers are often combined to form the world’s most popular white-supremacist slogan, with 88 standing for “Heil Hitler” (HH) and 14, representing the 14 word mantra, “We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children” coined by David Lane, a member of the terrorist group known as The Order.

ADC Chairman, Dr Dvir Abramovich, issued the following statement:

“This abhorrent and brazen declaration of hate in the heart of St Kilda makes me sick to the stomach. We know that these repugnant numbers have special significance for White-supremacists who are publicly using these neo-Nazi symbols in an effort to intimidate residents, and to promote their evil worldview that the white race will become extinct because of the Jews and other minorities unless immediate action is taken. This disturbing rallying cry aims to awaken the “white race “ to the reality of “racial extinction” and should be taken seriously by the Port Philip Council and law enforcement agencies. This incident is a is a chilling reminder of a dangerous and resurgent extreme-right movement that is active in the area. I ask all leaders to join me in condemning this ugly expression of anti-Semitism and prejudice, and note that this reference was employed by mass murderer Dylan Roof and convicted skinhead killer Curtis Allgier. Anyone with information about the perpetrators should report it to the police.”
