ADC shocked and outraged by Palestinian terrorist attack that claimed the lives of two Israeli soldiers

The ADC has expressed its profound horror and outrage at the terrorist car ramming attack by a Palestinian man, near the Mevo Dotan settlement in the West Bank that claimed that lives of Captain Ziv Daos and Sgt. Netanel Kahalani and injured two others. The 26-year old Palestinian assailant, Ala Qabha, rammed his car into the group of soldiers and was later arrested. He has now confessed to the murder.

ADC Chairman, Dr Dvir Abramovich, issued the following statement:

“Through tears and broken hearts we condemn in the strongest terms this depraved and evil act.  This latest episode of barbarism once again shows that Israel’s foes know no bounds in their bloodlust and in their desire to continue the ongoing campaign of murderous terror. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims whose anguish is unimaginable and whose lives have been scarred forever. We wish the injured a speedy and full recovery. This sickening attack is a result of the anti-Israel and anti-Jewish incitement so prevalent in Palestinian society and in the media, which glorifies and celebrates terrorist attacks against the Jewish state. We call on the international community to swiftly denounce those who would support the perpetuation of such a despicable act, and demand that President Abbas and the leadership of the Palestinian Authority stop fanning the flames of extremism. The ADC stands in solidarity with the government of Israel as it works to ensure the safety of its citizens.”
