The B’nai B’rith Anti-Defamation Commission (ADC) has condemned in the strongest possible terms the brutal stabbing of Dafna Meir, 38, who died after an assailant entered her residence in Otniel. The mother of six was killed while three of her children were in the house. Morad Bader Abdullah Adais, a 16 -year-old Palestinian, has been arrested on suspicion of the fatal stabbing.

ADC Chairman Dr Dvir Abramovich issued the following statement:

”We are shocked by this barbaric and despicable act of terrorism. These horrific crimes, that know no  bound, have tragically become a common reality in Israel, and we once again call on the international community to demand that President Abbas stop the incitement and bring an immediate end to the murderous violence directed against Israelis. The abhorrent wave of violence that has engulfed Israel over the last six months, means that ordinary citizens cannot live their normal lives without the constant fear and threat of terror. Our thoughts and prayers are with Dafna’s family and friends during this period of grief and mourning.”
