B’nai B’rith Anti-Defamation Commission Congratulates Israeli PM Netanyahu on forming new government

May 8, 2015

The B’nai B’rith Anti-Defamation Commission (ADC) today congratulated Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu on the formation of his new government.

ADC Chairman, Dr Dvir Abramovich, issued the following statement:

“We extend our good wishes and strength to Prime Minister Netanyahu and his new government as they begin the arduous task of addressing the many consequential challenges facing Israel and the Jewish people. In a region characterised by dictatorships, failed states and terrorism, the swearing in of this new government is an affirmation of Israel as a vigorous, robust democracy.  We are confident that this government will do its outmost to ensure a future of peace and security in a troubled Middle-east, confront the existential threat a nuclear Iran poses, tackle the menace of global anti-Semitism, and continue to seek a workable and lasting solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. As in the past,  we look forward to working with the Israeli government on issues of mutual concern.”
